Hawaiian cinnamon Rolls

Ello Food Bloggers! I've decided from talking to a friend, that I am going to join you in your food blogging.

I shall begin with a recipe I found on the back of a package of rolls. It is called "King's Hawaiian Cinnamon Rolls".  Let me tell you...they made my belly smile.

Okay, to start off, here is what you will need.

3 tbsp. granulated sugar.
2. tsp cinnamon
1 pkg. King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup prepared vanilla frosting, melted.

Okay, First off, pre-heat your oven to 350. Then lightly coat a pan with non-stick spray, and set aside.

Then get your package of rolls out, keeping them intact, slice the rolls in half horizontally.

After that, get a small bowl and add 3 tbsp. granulated sugar, and 2 tsp. cinnamon and blend together.

After you finish that, you will need to get your 1/2 cup of butter (which is a whole stick of butter) and make sure its softened. I put it in the microwave for about 20 seconds till I was able to make a good fingerprint in it.

Next thing you need to do is get the butter in the slices you made in the rolls. If you cut it all the way through, you can butter the rolls easier. Any left over butter I spread over the slices and on top of the rolls.

Now, you want to get that yummy cinnamon and sugar mixture on the butter inside the rolls. It's easier to just use your fingers to sprinkle the mixture on the buttered bread...and it's more fun. :-)

Next, make sure the halves are pushed together and sticking well, then you will need to pull apart each roll and place on your pan.

Stick them in the oven and cook 8-10 minutes. I have baked them for 9 and they came out the way I wanted. After they come out of the oven, get your icing (I used Duncan Hines Classic Vanilla). Melt it in the microwave and the pour on your cinnamon rolls.

And there you have it! quick and simply cinnamon rolls that taste like you just made them from scratch...well at least to my belly they do.
I hope you enjoyed my first attempt at food blogging. I'm more or a baking type, but maybe from time to time you will see something other than that. Next up on the list will be Pumpkin Cupcakes, so look out for more Monday's Munchies!
